Global Warming equals Global Fleecing

When scientists on the government grants are caught rigging the numbers that skew the data to what the governments want to see, then you can 't really count on the science as "settled" or even as science.  The issue here is two fold: 1) Is global warming a man made phenomena?  2) Is there anything man can do to prevent it?

Because there has been confirmed and admitted tampering and "adjustments" of past temperature data, decisions made based on that data would be dubious.  Addtionally, the last projections from those same scientists indicate that spending trillions on CO2 reductions and retooling the industrial economic models of the world wouldn't significantly affect future temperatures.

But, it will make many global orgnaizations richer with a major redirection of resources and industry.  This is a just another way for governments to shuffle money and reach into the pockets of tax payers and consumers for the enrighment of politicians and their cronies.

Follow the money.  Someone is getting rich off of global warming and it isn't the middle class or lower class.

Consumers will pay more for electricity and food.  Even more importantly, the weak economy will continue to be stressed.

Difference between electing GOP or Democrats? None

Electing Republicans to the House and Senate yielded no significant difference in results.

I am having a lot of trouble with Republican Congressmen whose lack of moxie is allowing for results no different than if the congress and senate were democrat controlled.

They are afraid to use the constitutional powers to stop or slow down Obama. The Republicans have ceded power in effect letting Democrats do what they want.  We might as well have Harry Reid and Pelosi running things because there has been no significant difference.

That's not what they were elected to do.  Having "show" votes is meaningless if nothing happens.  The Republicans that ran on stopping Obamacare, illegal immigration, lowering taxes have not been able to move the needle.  They attacked Ted Cruz when he tried to do something.

There are apologist that say that the Republicans in the Senate don't have 60 votes.  Well, the Dems has less than 60 votes and figured out how to ram the most influential piece of legislation in decades down the throats of the American people.

The GOP should know that they are being put on notice.  It might be time for a new party if there is no difference between the two in Washington. Ted Cruz might be right about the Washington Cartel.

There's seems to be only one party of money and power in Washington.  Right now they think being more progressive might be good for business.  But when the economy tanks and the government runs out of money those same power brokers will lead the charge back to more conservative thinking.
They will be making money at the expense of all Americans especially the poor all along the way.

So now we know why CNN has been ignoring the story...

This vato has been wattching the news and noticing hat CNN and MSNBC talk more about the lion being killed than the Planned Parenthood selling baby body parts.  Well this mught be just part of the reason why...

CNN Contributor Heads PR Firm Planned Parenthood Hired to Defend Selling Aborted Babies

Saturday, July 18, 2015

These babies were not human enough to save their lives but their organs are human enough to harvest!

Recently a video was released that indicates that Planned Parenthood was harvesting organs from aborted babies and "donating" them to a tissue service.  Agencies like to use words like tissue because it sounds better than human baby body pieces.

This is a hard topic.  It disgust me to think that babies are being chopped up and used for science.  I am having trouble typing this blog but I feel that I need to be on the record to say this is wrong.
We have made it legal to destroy these human lives that is regrettable.  Other abortion doctors have desecrated the bodies of these aborted babies but the commercialization of the human baby organs seems just that much more sinister.

I stressed the "donating" portion because it is illegal to sell aborted baby body parts.  In video the planned parenthood representative indicates a price list for the parts.  In my experience, items donated don't usually have a price associated on a per piece basis.  If you have followed planned parenthood in the media, you might concluded that they have no issues with breaking the law if they can get away with it .

The dear mother who passed way a few years ago used to say ,'" la verdad no es un pecado , pero incómoda!" This translates to"the truth is not a sin but can be uncomfortable." Political correctness is making the truth a sin and that is the injustice. Selling organs of aborted babies is wrong, period, it has to be said.

Is there a price on human decency or have we eroded all that semblance of the difference between good and evil?  I, for one, hope. that is not case.  We need to stop this.

It is time to ask," Why are tax payer dollars funding this organization?
It is time to cut them off.
Let their liberal supporters private fund it. There are plenty of liberal billionaires that seem to be okay with them. It it is such a great thing, let it be funded privately.

God bless the souls of these children that were not allowed to take first breath.

Are the unemployment numbers reported by the BLS manipulated on purpose? Or did 4 percent of the working population just decide not to work anymore?

There is a saying that one can pick numbers to make any case.  I suspected that this has been happening with the unemployment numbers reported by the US government for some time.  It seems to me like reports played with the labor participation rate to show better than expected unemployment numbers.  So I decided to research the numbers myself and see what came up.

First I looked at the graph for unemployment reported by the government.  This takes into account employment participation that can be subjective and subject to manipulation in reporting.
The numbers show that the unemployment is almost back to 2008 levels.   It would mean a dramatic improvement in the economy from 2010.

Data extracted on: February 7, 2015 (12:29:02 PM)

Labor Force Statistics from the Current Population Survey

Series Id:           LNS14000000
Seasonally Adjusted
Series title:        (Seas) Unemployment Rate
Labor force status:  Unemployment rate
Type of data:        Percent or rate
Age:                 16 years and over

Next I looked at the percentage of people working.
The stats below show the percent of people working (full or part time) compared to the total population,  When we look at this chart, we see that the amount of people actually working is still
very far away from 2008 working percentage numbers.

Percent of Population Working Report 2/7/2015  <--Link to BLS site

Labor Force Statistics from the Current Population Survey

Series Id:           LNS12300000
Seasonally Adjusted
Series title:        (Seas) Employment-Population Ratio
Labor force status:  Employment-population ratio
Type of data:        Percent or rate
Age:                 16 years and over

So how can this be?  Below is the labor participation rate.   Remember, this is the number that can be "subjective" and subject to interpretation.  The BLS reports that there are about 4 percent less people working or looking for work in 2015 than in 2008.  So if you have less people looking for work, the unemployment numbers reported are lower eventhough there are less people working in terms of percentage.

Data extracted on: February 7, 2015 (12:42:03 PM)

Labor Force Statistics from the Current Population Survey

Series Id:           LNS11300000
Seasonally Adjusted
Series title:        (Seas) Labor Force Participation Rate
Labor force status:  Civilian labor force participation rate
Type of data:        Percent or rate
Age:                 16 years and over

Coincidentally, the reduction in percent of population that is currently employed is also about 4 percent lower.  This begs the question,

"Are the unemployment numbers reported by the BLS manipulated on purpose? Or did 4 percent of the working population just decide not to work anymore?"   The chart shows the participation rate begins to decline in late 2008 and steeper in 2009.    An unemployment is actually higher than reported.

But some good news...
The US economy is improving but very slowly.  Much slower than is being reported by the BLS  unemployment numbers that are being published.   According to the second chart only recently have we have begun to actually add significant numbers of jobs to indicate more people working as a percent of the population.

Secure the Borders: Immigration Reform and Ebola Exposure -Update Measles

Update:

I wrote the post below during the Ebola scare.  As the reports of measles begin to grow,  I wanted to point out the many of the illegal immigrant children that were allowed into the country in the summer of 2014 were probably not vaccinated.  This to me seems a more likely vector for measles disease than children not vaccinated in the US.  Yes, the lack of vaccination in US children and citizens makes them more prone to get the disease but the distribution of illegal immigrant children (without vaccinations) across the country was probably more likely to create a resurgence of the disease that was declared defeated about 10 years ago.

****************************
For the past few days Rush Limbaugh has been suggesting that the Obama administration has been reluctant to close travel to Ebola struck countries because if it closed the borders to them then it could lead to closing the borders to the countries to the south.

If Rush is correct,  then our administration is reluctant to protect American children because of politics.  Unfortunately, that is not really much of a stretch anymore.

While there is no evidence that Ebola can be transmitted as an airborne virus, droplet transmission is very possible.  If anyone has ever sneezed or coughed too close to you, you have experienced the spray of droplets.  Droplets that could have been very contagious if the person had Ebola.  So while not airborne, same room (same airplane?) transmission is possible maybe even likely.

Over the past few weeks, we miraculously saved two people with a new treatment for Ebola.  If word got out that the US had the cure, we would have many infected people trying to get here for the treatment.  In the current state of the Southern (or even Northern) borders, could we really keep them out?

Now think of infected terrorists, drugs dealers and infected victims of human trafficking.  They move into the country in confined conditions.  One person could infect an entire group that spread to various cities after hitting the US.  Two to three weeks later we have hot spots in major US cities.

Would our children, spouses, families, and friends be safe?  Is the US going to take precautions now or hope for the best until it's too late.  If there was ever a time to secure the borders, it is now.

The Affordable Care Act: The Great Obama Lie!

For those that say that THE AFFORDABLE CARE ACT is the law of the land, approved by both houses, the Supreme Court  and we should move on from here.  I would like to remind you of the lies that helped get it passed and continue to this day.

1) "It is not a tax."  Lie! The Supreme Court upheld the insurance mandate as a tax that fell under the taxing power of the government.
2)It will cover the all uninsured.   Lie! We now know that millions will remain uninsured.
3) "Everyone will save money."   Lie!  We now know that costs will go up because of additional coverage mandated by the law.

4)"You can keep the coverage you currently have."  Lie!  We now know that insurance companies have to change coverage and prices due to items mandated by the law.  Many Americans are losing their coverage.
5) "Congress will have the same insurance."  Lie!  We now know that Congress voted additional subsidies for government employees in direct violation of the terms of the law.  In a similar action, the president unilaterally granted waivers to some businesses.
6) "Finally, you can keep your doctor."  Lie!  We now know that many doctors are dropping patients.

Remember the OBAMA DON'T CARE ACT in 2014...

Revised-  10/30/2013

7) It will cost $940 Billion.   Lie!  CBO now estimates that costs will rise to
$ 1.76 trillion almost double the costs.

8) The web site is ready to go! LIE! You get the picture... (taken 10/30/2013)

Debunking the Propagandized debunking of "15 Myths The Media Should Ignore During Obamacare Implementation."

I took a few minutes to research and comment on "15 Myths The Media Should Ignore During Obamacare Implementation".
Found at
http://mediamatters.org/research/2013/10/01/15-myths-the-media-should-ignore-during-obamaca/196181

Some are technically myths and some are not myths. Debunking the propagandized debunking of myths is a little tricky but it was so easy to find facts online that I said, "what the heck." The Affordable Care Act is very complex by design so we have argument on nuances ad infinitum. I tried to stick to the main points.

Myth #1: Congress Is "Exempt" From The Affordable Care Act
Your analysis is correct. Congress is not exempt however there is an exception.
“Other Americans who get health insurance through their jobs can’t take their employer insurance contributions and apply them directly to new individual plans purchased through the exchanges.-Kate Pickert -http://swampland.time.com/2013...
Read more: http://swampland.time.com/2013...

Myth #2: Premium Prices Will Increase Due To Health Care Law- Sorry, “lower than expected” has nothing to do with the actual numbers. This is not a myth. Premiums went up! You are explaining why it's okay they went up. This does not change the fact that they went up.

Myth #3: The Affordable Care Act Includes Death Panels- The text of the law explicitly states this but we recently had a situation where a young lady needed a lung transplant. Kathleen Sebelius eventually intervene to change the rules over who got a lung transplant. This isn't a panel but a “Death Czar.”
The IPAB can affect the amount of money paid to doctors for specific treatments
and create a rationing effect in that way. The result will be the same, patients will not be able to get the care they need according to their doctors and it will be the government restricting access to that care.

Myth #4: Shutting Down Government Over Obamacare Funding Will Stop Health Care Law
Correct. But it might affect the Democrat's willingness to pass changes that have so far been resisted.

Myth #5: The Affordable Care Act Is "Socialized Medicine" And A "Government Takeover" Of Health Care
Correct. However, Obama care is the first step towards socialized medicine and a government takeover of health care.
The President and Harry Reid are on the record saying that they want to walk this to a single payer system which would definitely be socialized medicine. source is video from: http://youtu.be/926bPZiQhgY & http://youtu.be/SXgSKwYMnWo.
This answers the question is why affect 300 million people's health care when you are effectively covering an additional 10% of the population. A capitalist approach would probably more effective ways of achieving this
without a wholesale one party revamp the America's health care system. For instance, there could have been a Medicaid expansion, tort reform, allowing insurances to compete across state lines and finally a set tax to fund the Americans that need subsidy. The drive towards socialized medicine is the truly scary part of the affordable care act.

Myth #6: People Will Be Able To Commit Subsidy Fraud On The Exchanges
Wrong! People will always be able to commit fraud. There is not a system that is fool proof.

Myth #7: Obamacare "Narrow Networks" Will Constrain Health Choices-Wrong
Reports from across the country confirm that people are losing their current coverage, spouses are losing their coverages, and retirees are losing their coverages. People have not be able to keep their healthcare provider. As providers move out of
certain regions due the affordable care act, the choices of coverage must become limited by simple math.

Myth #8: The Affordable Care Act Is Bad For Women- This is subjective.
If it's bad for almost everyone, is it bad for women?

Myth #9: The Affordable Care Act Covers Abortions - Wrong again!
“The Office of Personnel Management ruled Monday that members of Congress and their staffs will be able to buy health care plans that pay for abortions, even though the premiums are funded largely by taxpayer money...”

Myth #10: The Affordable Care Act Is A Job Killer. Correct. The True myth should read a “Full Time Job Killer”
As the Act comes into effect, many employers are reducing hours to less than 30 to avoid penalties. There are also many small businesses reporting that they will not hire over 50 employees to also avoid penalties. Small businesses are the engines of American jobs, it only make sense that anything that affects their hiring would impact all full time hiring.

Myth #11: With Full Access To Medical Records, The IRS Will Discriminate Against Conservatives This remains to be seen. We now know that the IRS illegally targeted conservative groups applying for tax exempt status what is to prevent another so-called rogue group to target conservatives. They already target them
for audits.

Myth #12: Navigators Will Abuse Private Information-
Navigators will help register more Democrats. Is this abuse of private information?

Myth #13: Obamacare Mandates Doctors To Ask Patients About Sexual History -Don't care. My doctors already asked about my history as part a good screening.

Myth #14: The ACA's Medicaid Expansion Will Force Doctors To Turn Away Patients
See Answers to myth 3 and myth 7

Myth #15: The ACA Is To Blame For A Projected 30 Million People Who Will Remain Uninsured
This was passed without a single GOP vote. You should expect them to try to stop the march towards socialized medicine.

Ted Cruz tells the truth about the "Affordable" Care Act

Today Senator Ted Cruz completed a 21 hour filibuster like speech on the "Affordable" Care Act.

Highlights of speech:

1) The act is not affordable and will lead to a fiscal crisis for the US Government.
2)  Business are reducing hours of their employees to under 30 hours to comply with new full time definition.
3) Small businesses are hiring as a direct result of the act.
4) People are losing their existing coverage.
5) Some employee spouses are losing coverage.
6) The law covers only those with a strong lobby in Washington.  Friends of the White House and Congressional staff are not following the same rules as the rest of the US population.
7) Doctors will be reimbursed at the same level as the reduced Medicare level that many doctors already do not participate in.
8)The will cover about half of the people that don't have coverage.
9)The act was passed by only Democrats with no Republican input.
10) The act impacts 16% of the US economy.
11)The act will make health insurance premiums go up for most people.
10)Republicans that vote for in favor cloture on Friday or Saturday will allow the Senate leader to add amendments funding the Affordable Care Act.

I  support Ted in what he attempted, to force Democrats make the decision to fund the government or the affordable care act.  The RINOs (Republicans In Name Only- {i.e. McCain}) will not support him.  RINOs declared defeat before the first vote was taken.

Majority leader Harry Reid came on after Senator Cruz and talked about how critical the time was in order to avoid a government close down.  Well, if it was so critical why not just pass the House's Spending Bill as is?

Personally, I think affordable care act has 2 good things:
The preexisting condition clause, and the extended age coverage clause until kids are 26.  That many pages had to have something good.  I would be in favor of a repeal and replace plan with the items above, extending Medicare eligibility and a price tag doesn't bankrupt the US in the near future.   I am sure we can find a cost effective way to cover the folks without jobs or insurance without destroying 1/16th of the US economy. I'm not a physician but we don't usually have to kill the patient in order to save them.

The media attacked Senator Ted Cruz, the Democrats attacked and even the RINOs attacked.  Senator Ted Cruz held the news cycle for 21 hours.   He was noticed. He and those that  joined him like Paul and Rubio, will be the vanguard of new Republican Party or new conservative party.  The Republican base has see these dynamic new leaders.

RINOs be on notice.  It is time that Republicans represented their base and quit worrying about Independents and Reagan Democrats.  Conservative principals can not be defeated in a fair debate.  They are self evident.

New Immigration Reform Laws? What happened to the old ones?

Recently the Senate passed a sweeping immigration reform bill.   It is now up to the House to pass their version.

The bill that is about 1200 pages had some support from some Republicans.
It was reported loaded with earmarks in order to get the support of various Senators.

The fact that it passed was very disappointing.  That fact it passed without proper debate was an even greater failure by the Senate and Senate Republicans.

I am not going to into the details of this bill but simply want to ask the question,
"What happened to the old immigration laws?"

They did not get lost.  They are there.  Most certainly, they can be improved but more importantly they have been ignored.  Both Republicans and Democrats have ignored border laws for the past 30 years and then they wonder why the borders are porous?

New laws won't fix the border unless they are enforced.  When the executive branch has the ability to ignore portions of enforcement and decides not to defend laws that are challenged in courts then passing new laws is moot unless the executive branch in power happens to "approve" of the laws.  Is America a nation of laws or the whims of the party in power?

So why bother passing laws if you are not honoring and enforcing the old laws?

Why bother swearing an oath to uphold the constitution when you only do so when convenient politically?

Why bother voting for so called conservatives like Senator Marco Rubio, when they vote for larger more intrusive and wasteful government?
